Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi is an absolutely stunning sight to behold as a photographer. Only the mosque's elaborate and beautiful design comes close to matching its majesty and splendor. I could tell right away that I was going to have an absolutely extraordinary and breathtaking experience the moment I stepped into the mosque.

Over 41,000 worshipers can be accommodated at any given moment at the largest mosque in the UAE. Each of the 82 domes and four minarets that encircle the central courtyard are embellished with beautiful calligraphy and geometric motifs. A true piece of art, the marble floor is inlaid with intricate patterns and decorations. The mosque's 82 domes shimmer in the sunlight thanks to its white marble and gold finishes.

As a photographer, I've had the chance to capture the majesty and magnificence of many famous buildings and monuments around the Middle East & Asia, but none has had the same lasting impact as the Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi.

This magnificent monument honors the United Arab Emirates' fallen heroes and stands as a testament to the nation's cohesion and resiliency. It is located in the center of the city.

Not just the memorial building but reflection of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the pond is simply majectic. Probably one of the most photographed places in the Middle East.

One of the most stricking skyscrapers of the UAE

No matter what you admire but you will be overjoyed to photograph Abu Dhabi's Etihad Towers. The curved and reflected surfaces of these towers' clean and contemporary architecture offered several opportunity for spectacular and original Architectural and Cityscape photographs.

The towers' elaborate and detailed design, with their glass exteriors and delicate steel frames generating a sense of movement and fluidity, was one of the key aspects that caught my attention.

You can take photos of these beautiful skyscrapers from two sides. First one is from the Emirates Palace or from the Founder’s memorial. There are many distractions there but one can always find a better composition. I like the back side view where you can see the beautiful reflections too. Its easily accesable with available parking.

In particular, this amazing holy place is a 100% replica of Al Quds Mosque of Jerusalem. One of the main reasons for its fame in the UAE.

The magnificent architectural masterpiece that displays the rich cultural history of the United Arab Emirates is the Louvre Museum of Abu Dhabi. On Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, this spectacular museum, which was created by the French architect Jean Nouvel, welcomed guests in 2017.

The museum's collection is a veritable gold mine of artwork and relics from all around the world. It has artwork by some of history's most well-known artists, including Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh, and Claude Monet, as well as relics from antiquity, including Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
